I finished a book! I can’t believe it!! Finally!!!Yes, I am over my slump, finally🥳Now, this book:I still think the first book is better(or do I?), and I do have some problems with it, kind of。 I mean the first part; I was kinda not impressed or maybe that was the slump but the second portion really picks up and I loved it。 It may otherwise have been 3。5 but because I’m over THE RUT thanks to this book, it’s a four! Also, the last bit made me tear up a lil and let me tell you THAT is a Feat!Q: wh I finished a book! I’m going to give this book 4。75/5 stars。 I did really enjoy it but didn’t find it as thrilling as the first one—maybe because I already knew part of what to expect from Pip? Nonetheless I really liked it and will definitely pick up the third book once it’s released。 Love Holly Jackson’s writing style :)

Amazing book! Thrilling, Romantic, Emotional and a perfect amount of Horror。 I loved how this series was written。 The way Holly makes it look as one person did it, but then the clues point to someone else。 I personally love suspense, so this book was great for me。 And, a thrilling crime novel is always better with some romance or a love interest。 I definitely recommend this book to young adults or teens。 Some children might even enjoy it。 It is a mixture of emotions, and has just the right amoun Amazing book! I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much as the first book, but it was still good! Again, I listened to it on Audible and am glad I did。 They kept with the different narrations and music which made it fun。I thought Pip had a little more of a personality this go-around。 Her banter with Ravi again made her come alive。 She still could use a bit more character, but I didn’t find her nearly as dull。 I’m glad she finally decided to step away from her “good girl” persona and stand up for herself/her belie I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much as the first book, but it was still good! I have never pre-ordered a book before。 But let me tell you, once I finished this book, I immediately went to pre-order the third。 I will admit, the beginning was a little slow compared to the first book, but holy cow! This is definitely a must read。 If you like mystery and feeling like you solved the mystery, only to be blindsided, then this is definitely the book series for you。

Not as exciting as the first volume, but still quite good。 I will definitely continue reading Holly Jackson!

Miss Holly Jackson did not disappoint with this sequel!! So so good。 She really knows how to write a riveting, jaw-dropping mystery thriller。 After reading AGGGTM, I was stoked to read this sequel ASAP。 I loved it just as much as I loved the first one。 Holly Jackson’s storytelling is so captivating, and I was completely sucked into the story。 I had trouble putting the book down。 That’s how good it was。 And the details in this book!! A solid read! The sequel to A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder was great。 I think the first was slightly better, but I still enjoyed this one, too。 Towards the end I predicted who the mastermind was behind all of this (not the case in the 1st book), but it was still an enjoyable read :)

this author knows how to write a good mystery, I'll give her that。 Though I will also have to say that this 'sequel' was a bit more predictable than the first book。 Nonetheless there was a still a good surprising twist at the end。 My one criticism is that the majority of the characters, minus Pip and Ravi, seem a bit。。。。idiotic。 Jamie, for example。 And the annoying side characters of Ant and Lauren, who are so clueless that I wonder what the point of their inclusion is。 And the cops are just。。。t this author knows how to write a good mystery, I'll give her that。 Though I will also have to say that this 'sequel' was a bit more predictable than the first book。 Nonetheless there was a still a good surprising twist at the end。 My one criticism is that the majority of the characters, minus Pip and Ravi, seem a bit。。。。idiotic。 Jamie, for example。 And the annoying side characters of Ant and Lauren, who are so clueless that I wonder what the point of their inclusion is。 And the cops are just。。。there?? Great sequel to an enjoyable first book。 Pip stumbles into another crime to solve, and it has all the great twists and turns of the first one。

I’m giving this 5 stars simply for that plot twist。 Sweet baby Jesus I have never been so o。O before。 Like whatever I thought was drop kicked out the window straight across the Mississippi。 It’s probably somewhere in Wisconsin eating a lovely cheese wheel。 I don’t think there is a book (that I’ve read) that has had such a wild turn of events。 I was getting near the end with my headphones on and my mom poked me on the shoulder。 When I tell you I jumped, I was airborne。 I was so caught up in the t I’m giving this 5 stars simply for that plot twist。 Sweet baby Jesus I have never been so o。O before。 Like whatever I thought was drop kicked out the window straight across the Mississippi。 It’s probably somewhere in Wisconsin eating a lovely cheese wheel。 I don’t think there is a book (that I’ve read) that has had such a wild turn of events。 I was getting near the end with my headphones on and my mom poked me on the shoulder。 When I tell you I jumped, I was airborne。 I was so caught up in the twister I was a little cow just spinning along 50 feet in the air, mooing forlornly。 Before about 60 percent, I was invested but not totally hooked。 To be honest, I forgot about who the characters were from the first book because I listened to that one around Christmas。 Seriously, I had this book on hold for ages。 I couldn’t have told you who Connor or Jamie were, and I really didn’t care? I just went with it I guess。 Speaking as a completely objective third party observer with absolutely no personal interest in the matter 。 。 。 I was into the mystery but not much else。 Y’all know I’m a romance junkie, but even that in this one didn’t have me。 I didn’t much care for how we missed the “asking to be the girlfriend” part。 I could have totally missed it, but I think it was skipped over when the tense changed at the beginning。 It confused me because I still thought he hadn’t asked Pip, so when he called her his girlfriend later on I was like?????? Maybe I’m just slow on the uptake。 Obviously this isn’t a romance but cows moo and I’m me。 BUT as soon as the tension started going up, so did my heart rate。 I was in it to win it with this one。 I loved how Pip went a little Kill Bill on some of those trick ass bitches。 Rarely do we see the MC actually kick major booty and do what they want with their anger。 It felt very realistic and not all harmony and high roads。 All thoughts of Kumbaya were tossed into Wisconsin as well。 I hope they make a lovely home with the badgers。 Pip has traumas to overcome, but it was just a beautiful Hulk smash moment while it lasted。 I think my other issues with the beginning probably would have been moo-t (heheh) if I’d have read the books in quick succession。 I’m very excited for the next one in the series and I am intrigued to see what the plot entails。 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 。。。more
